Minimalist long-exposure seascape reducing horizon and color to abstract form

24° N After Light

Studies in Color and Time

A private, design-forward collector series.

  • 24° N After Light is a restrained body of long-exposure seascape work produced along the lower latitudes of the Florida Keys. The series is defined less by location than by reduction — horizon, structure, residual light, and duration.

Each image is constructed to hold visual tension while resisting narrative closure. Nothing resolves. Nothing gestures toward spectacle.

  • This series examines what remains after light has passed its expressive peak — when color thins, contrast softens, and form begins to dissolve into atmosphere.

Time is not used to dramatize motion, but to subtract information.

    • Singular structures or interruptions

    • Extended negative space

    • Compressed tonal ranges

    • Minimal horizon deviation.

Color is present, but never dominant. Contrast exists, but is never resolved.

  • The work is intended to be experienced at scale. Printed large, surface detail recedes while structure and atmosphere assert themselves.

The image does not decorate a space — it stabilizes it.

  • Works in this series are produced as limited editions. Each image is released individually, and not all works are available concurrently.

Once an edition is complete, no further prints are produced in that format or size.

  • 24° N After Light is not publicly circulated as a full set. Availability, placement, and future releases are shared privately.

This series is intended for collectors and designers seeking work that rewards sustained viewing rather than immediate recognition.
