Walking Through Stillness

Studies in Color and Endurance

A private, design-forward collector series.

  • Walking Through Stillness is a body of long-exposure work produced along the coastal edges of Florida and the Florida Keys. The series is defined less by geography than by sensation — the feeling of moving through a moment that has been frozen in time.

Each image is built around something that remains. Structures, vessels, creatures, ruins — subjects that have been overtaken by time, weather, or irrelevance, and are still standing. Long exposure does not dramatize their presence. It suspends it.

Each image is constructed to hold visual tension while resisting narrative closure. Nothing resolves. Nothing gestures toward spectacle.

  • This series examines what it feels like to inhabit a moment that refuses to pass — when the world goes quiet around something that endures.

Time is not used to smooth or beautify. It is used to isolate. To remove the noise of the present and leave only what persists.

  • Subjects defined by age, decay, or stillness Extended negative space — water, sky, horizon Tonal restraint regardless of color or monochrome Movement rendered as absence

Color is present in some works, absent in others. The palette is never the point. The silence is.

  • This work is intended to be experienced at scale. Printed large, surface detail gives way to atmosphere and weight.

The image does not decorate a space — it changes the quality of time inside it.

  • Works in this series are produced as limited editions. Each image is released individually, and not all works are available concurrently.

Once an edition is complete, no further prints are produced in that format or size.

  • Walking Through Stillness is not publicly circulated as a full set. Availability, placement, and future releases are shared privately.

This series is intended for collectors and designers seeking work that asks something of the viewer — and rewards the patience to stand still.
