Bradley Alan — Fine Art Photogrpaher

Hi, I’m J. Bradley Alan Faulkner.

My work examines coastal environments through seascapes and long-exposure photography. I use time and atmosphere to reduce landscape to form and movement, emphasizing interpretation over documentation.

About Me

Studies in Color and Time

A series of long-exposure works made along the southernmost latitude of the continental United States. The series reduces horizon, color, and atmosphere to their simplest elements, allowing time to flatten detail and shift the landscape toward abstraction.

These works are not documents of place, but interpretations formed through duration, restraint, and repetition.

Year
2024-2026

In November 2025, a work from 24° N After Light was recognized by Professional Photographers of America with an Image Excellence Merit — one of the organization's highest distinctions for photographic craft. Four months later, it appeared in the pages of PPA Magazine.

Studies in Color and Endurance

A series of long-exposure works made along the coastal edges of Florida and the Florida Keys. Each image is built around something that persists — structures, vessels, and shorelines that time has moved past but not erased.

These works are not documents of place. They are the sensation of standing inside a moment that refuses to pass.

These works are not documents of place, but interpretations formed through duration, restraint, and repetition.
